Waldo & Sian | Nooitgedacht

I guess when you're getting married in August in Cape Town, the chances of rain is always there, and I had quite e few rainy weddings this season. What I did notice was that none of the brides stressed about it and they totally embraced the winter wedding atmosphere. I’ve taken photos at Nooitgedacht on numerous occasions and in different seasons with different weather conditions, and winter is by far my favourite season. With all the old trees leafless and bare, it had a certain charm to me. Sian (pronounced Shaan – it’s from Welsh origin) and Waldo were one of those couple who placed the emphasis on the right part of their wedding, with understated yet elegant décor and Sian wearing her mother’s wedding dress, this wedding was so refreshing and special! Thanks to Ina Labuschagne for being my right hand ;)
