Trevor & Jeanne-Mari's love story could very well be a script for a movie, and it goes a little like this: " Boy meets girl, they fell in love and knew they where going to be together forever. Then girl's visa expires and they had to make a choice, either she leaves for South Africa and they try and make it long distance, maybe seeing each other once or twice a year or they could get married". Well Jeanne-Mari didn't want people to belittle her love for Trevor, and they knew people where going to say she only married him to get her citizenship, so they got married and kept it a secret for a whole 5 years. Eventually they felt comfortable in telling the world and they got married for the second time here in South Africa... romantic hey? What I notice about them during the day was, that they where still more in love than most newly weds I shoot... and even though it rained cats & dogs on the day, and their beach wedding quickly had to be moved indoors, they where all smiles and laughs.
