I love how photography,
when used intuitively, tells
you about yourself and your relationship to the world.

tips for getting great photos

I’m mentioning this tip first, because I feel this is the most important of all - leave enough time for photos. If your late you’re the only one being negatively effected. Enough time = better photos.

Going hand in hand with this tip is, keep in mind when the sun sets during the time of year you're getting married, before you send out the invitations. Photography is nothing more than painting with light, if there’s not enough we can’t do our magic.

If at all possible choose a place with big windows or enough natural light to get dressed. Not only does it make it easier for your make-up artist, but your photographer too...

A big part of great photos, apart form a great photographer, is a great make-up artist. Although you or your sister can do it splendidly for a night on the town, a professional make-up artist knows what works for your face, how much should be applied for flawless skin on photos and how to make you look stunning, way after the garter has been thrown.

Pack a pair of comportable flats for the photo shoot. Sometimes a bride has to climb over things to get to the best and most beautiful spots for her photos, and doing that in a pair of stilletos can be difficult. Once there we’ll put on you Jimmy Choos’ again...

Try and relax!!! Nothing makes a photo more unnatural as a clenched jaw... remember you look as beautifull as you’ve ever been...

... and finally enjoy YOUR special day. This is the one day in your life that’s completely ALL about you!
