I enjoyed this wedding so much!!! The couple, the guests and the venue just made for an awesome celebration. Matt & Roché met each other while working for a cruise liner. Matt was a dancer and you'll see in the reception photos he and his grooms men, also dancers, busting a move on the dance floor. Some of the highlights of the ceremony was Roche’s little niece running to her granny, while she was walking down the aisle, refusing to let go and Roché's brother-in-law switching his (huge) ring with Matt's before they exchanged rings...the confusion on Matt's face – priceless. Matt & Roché live in London now, and they wanted to make the best of the balmy, South African, summer nights, so they did all their speeches on the lawn outside and only moved inside for mains. I find this such an amazing concept... The festivities were coordinated by Michelle from Brilliance Events and the great staff from Towerbosch.

Julie & André's wedding day was one of those truly gorgeous Cape Town days. Vrede & Lust is definitely one of the top venues that lends itself to an outdoors ceremony. With vineyards and the beautiful Franschoek Mountains in the backdrop, it is truly magnificent. Julie is such a stunner and a true girly girl, from her soft pink and crystal décor through to the gorgeous form fitting dress. André and his boys looked very handsome in their grey suits. These two hotties met when Julie, who lives in Canada, visited family here and after a whirlwind romance they celebrated their wedding under African skies... Make-up: Alicia Buckle, Decor: Leipzig & Videographers: Boy Meets Girl.  You can whatch their video here.

What I remember about their wedding: Laughter...and lots of it. I think Anja did not stop smiling and laughing once during the day. Willem looked so handsome in his three piece suit, but I really felt for the guy, my car's thermometer said 41 degrees at one stage. The ceremony was inside an Eucalyptus Tree Forest, and the sound of the leaves in the breeze (thank goodness for the slight breeze) added to the romantic feel of the setting. The bridal party was one of the most fun ones I had in a long time...Make-up: Exquisite Look and a big thank you to Liesl Basson for the shots of the guests during cocktail hour...

Bart & Karen are currently working in Shanghai and only came back home to celebrate their wedding with friends an family. Morgenhof is very much the Cape Winelands wedding venue, with vineyards, a Cape Dutch Manor house and the beautiful mountains. Karen is from German decent and quite a few of her German family flew all the way to celebrate with them. I loved all the traditions involved with a German wedding, from wearing the wedding ring on the “wrong” hand, the wedding magazine to a special dance where the couple is showered with money (wish I was German LOL).

What I remember about their wedding day: Apart form being on one of the hottest weekends Cape Town had in a long time, I remembered it as being a very relaxed and intimate affair. With the ceremony in the gorgeous rustic chapel on site and the canapes overlooking the valley with Table Mountain in the distance, Diamant Estate created the prefect setting. Wilmie's mom is a well know painter and it was actually quite lovely that Wilmie reminded me of a renaissance painting with her classic looks and dainty lace gown. MT and his team from Diamant Estate did an excellent job and Tanya from Studio Bloem made the venue came to life with bright splashes of colour. If you want a photo booth for fun at your wedding I can really recommend KiekiePhoto, their booth photos are some of the best I've seen to date. Amazing cake by The Bird Cage.
